As a travel photographer, my journey began long before I ever stepped foot on foreign soil. From the age of 10, I wielded a camera, capturing the world around me with curiosity. It was during my teenage years, however, that my passion for analog photography truly blossomed.

Gifted a collection of vintage cameras by my supportive grandparents, I delved into the art form with fervor, exploring the streets of Seattle and seeking out the unconventional, the obscure, and the raw and the risky.

With each click of the shutter, I embraced the risks inherent in capturing the essence of urban landscapes and the untold stories they held. Yet, it wasn't until my twenties, armed with a used DSLR and two lenses, that I embarked on a transformative journey that would shape my artistic vision forever.

It was a twist of fate that led me to Taipei, thrusting me into a world far beyond my familiar surroundings that launched me into travel photography. On my first day in the early hours of morning, amidst the bustling energy of a waking city, I discovered the exhilaration of capturing life in motion. The smiles of strangers, the vibrant hues of a market at dawn each frame a testament to the beauty of human connection and the richness of the city.

Years later as fate would have it, my path intersected with that of my wife, a far more experienced traveler whose wanderlust mirrored my own. Together, we embarked on a journey across continents, weaving our shared passion for exploration into the fabric of our lives. From the windswept landscapes of Patagonia, where we got married, to the bustling streets of Buenos Aires, and from the timeless elegance of Paris to the vibrant chaos of Tokyo, each destination became a canvas upon which I photographed our experiences.

From the rugged beauty of far West Texas on the Mexican border to the storied cityscape of Chicago, and from Vietnam's bustling streets of Saigon to the rustic landscapes of the north, my photographs invite you to journey alongside me, to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and stories of distant lands. For in every frame lies a tale waiting to be told, a memory waiting to be shared a testament to the transformative power of travel and the boundless beauty of the world we inhabit.
